New Youth Bat Rules and Procedure
by posted 01/23/2018

Dear Parents,

Cal Ripken Baseball (our parent organization) has implemented a new baseball bat standard designed to keep the children safe while they play baseball.  RYSBA will follow this new bat standard. Our umpires are being trained on what to look for and what type of bat is allowed for ply in RYSBA.  Before each game all bats that are to be used in the game are to be checked and verified by the umpire. Any bats that do not meet the new bat stadard will be removed from the game.  If an illegal bat is found during game play the rules are outlined here.

https://www.baberuthleague.org/bat-rules.aspx

Any questions on the new bat standard please visit the following links.

Thank You
